Wait a tick, I thought that Vista would just open up in a window in OS X... it's gonna be the main OS? I might have to partition then... great. just great.

So questions:
It will be a Windows OS for Mac? that more or less defeats the purpose of a mac... sort of... i have no clue what i'm talking about do i... oh well OS X FOR LIFE!!! :mac: :mac::mac::mac::mac::mac:

my question is: will Vista replace OS X? if so, will I be able to partition my hard drive and use both at different times?

Vista is the next version of Windows, like how Windows 98 replaced Windows 95.

It has nothing to do with OSX other than some people speculating it might be possible to run Vista on the new Intel Macs.

No vista will not replace OSX. Vista is microsoft, which will not run on a Macintosh (with out emulation, yet), MacOSX will only run on Macs (legitly). But yes, if you had a computer that could run both vista and osx, you could partition one drive.
