Updating Parallels on Mac OS X Mavericks

I have just recently updated my iMac to Mavericks and now find I need to update Parallels. Will parallels create a virtual machine off a restore disk?

Updating Parallels won't affect the virtual machines. You may need to reinstall the Parallels "helper" tools under Windows the first time you run the VM, but you won't need to go to the restore as long as the Virtual Machine is still where it was.
