Hi, maybe a stupid question, but I am thinking of buying the standard spec 13 inch AIR 256gb (Apple Uk has this at £999) and was wondering whether this will be sufficient to run things like Adobe dreamweaver, indesign, Photoshop, etc?

I think it's a great looking machine but I am worried it may be a little underpowered for certain software?

Any advice or help much appreciated.

The machine should be OK for what you intend to use it for. The only advice I have is to make sure you order it with enough memory and a large enough SSD. The MBA and retina machines are not user upgradeable for memory and it can be very expensive to upgrade the SSD later on. I realize that may cost more now, but will save you money later on.

Many thanks for your advice, chscag.

Looks like I might have to push it all out and go for the 512gb and the 8gb memory.

Just wish it wasn't so expensive!
