I downloaded autocad on my Mac about a month and a half ago but no longer need it. I have tried dragging it to the trash but it does not work. I have found similar topics with google, but they are all over 3 years old.

There doesn't seem to be any definitive instructions for removing AutoCad Mac and I'm assuming the program did not provide an uninstaller? If that's the case, you'll just have to search out all its files and remove them.

Can you provide more details? What happens when you try? What version of OS X are you using? Have you tried using an included uninstaller (if there is one)?

And if still no joy try AppCleaner or AppDelete.
