I am trying to get my huge TV monitor to display 4 smaller screens rather than one big one.

The look I am thinking of is the Preview or screen selection of the "Spaces" app.

If only you could freeze the "Spaces" app to stay in the preview view...

Is there an app that has this functionality???

I will attach an image of "Spaces" so you guys get what i am talking about.

Have a look at either Divvy or SizeUp. Neither is free but also not expensive. Divvy has a free trial. I think either will produce the effect you want.

You are right, these apps and others will only resize 4 windows to the different corners. I don't know of any application that will get you 4 separate spaces visible at the same time..

That's too bad.

I was planning on using my Mac Mini as the home entertainment station for Netflix etc... by pluging into my 42" TV. And also use it for my work without the need to take up space with a computer monitor.

Guess i will have to

Thanks for the help

You don't need a special app for this. You can have Netflix in one window…and something work-related in another window.:)

In fact (as an example) on my iMac I have:

- Netflix running in one window
- An internet game going in a 2nd window
- Microsoft Office in a 3rd Window
- Typing this Mac-Forums reply in a 4th Window

Easy!:)
