I lost my iPhone two days ago and I am trying to use find my iPhone to find it. I have several devices hooked up to my account and they all read offline. Some devices I have reading offline are my brother's phone and iPad which I have right next to me and they are powered on and connected to wifi. Why are they read as offline?

Did you register your brother's iPhone and iPad as part of your Find My iPhone service? Is your brother's iPhone and iPad using the same Apple ID as you are? Did he also register these devices under his own Apple ID?
