I want to encypt my Mac Mail program. I've been on the Enigmail Project and read the info.
I ended up at the GPGtools.org website.
I'm using MacBook Pro 10.8.5.
I download the GPG Suite but it won't open or asks me to "choose application."
I don't even want the Suite, just email encryption.
I'd appreciate anyone who can take the time to suggest how to encrypt my email (in and outbound) using my Mac Mail ver. 6.6.
Thanks.

I'm not sure what you're asking but.....

There are programs to encrypt your mail outbound, but keep in mind that anyone who receives it would have to be using the same method of encryption and key in order to read the mail. The same applies to mail that you receive since the sender would have to encrypt it first and you likewise would need the key.

Thanks chscag.

I understand.
Could you, or anyone else, please suggest a couple of programs?
Thanks again.

Check out this site. It reviews email encryption programs. Ignore the "MacKeeper" advertisements at the top. ;)
