Maverick upgrade has left screen flashing

Last night I updated Mavericks, now the iMacs home screen flashes and there is no app bar........
Anyone have any ideas?

All I can find online is something about Google and it not working with Mavericks, but I'm struggling to locate it.....



HELP PLEASE !

So much editing to do..........

Try as nickry suggests. Do you mean no Dock? What was thebupdate ~ OS X.9.3 to 9.4 or what?

Which model iMac and is it covered by warranty and/or three year AppleCare?
