So I got my very first Kernel Panic today after owning the system for 9 months. I have a 2 GHz 20" iMac G5 with 1GB of Apple RAM. My Software is completely up to date, and I just installed iLife 2006 a week ago.
I had the following Applications Open:
Mail, Safari, iChat, and iTunes. My wife was also logged in with Mail and iChat running on her ID.
I was watching a Video in iTunes that I had ripped from a DVD that I own via Handbrake. I then docked my iPod while the video was playing and it started to sync. I was 1/2 way through the sync when I recieved the Kernel Panic.
Here is the output from the Log:
Sun Feb 26 20:09:35 2006
panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0021B3DC): btree_journal_modify_block_end: about to write corrupt node!

I quickly searched Apple's Support page for some information but it was rather light in details. Anyone know what any of this means?
Thanks,
