Adblock for Safari combined with Ghostery does wonders.

Adblock for Safari kind of stinks. It isn't as robust as Adblock Plus on Chrome. I prefer Safari so I stick to it for most things and pop Chrome open on a few sites where Adblock for Safari can't get stuff. It isn't real good with video ads for instance.
Ghostery looks interesting though. I might have to install that.
