My two year old apparently hit a key combination that turned on a cursor info box. Now I need to know how to hide it. Can anyone out there help me with this? I'm also having ghost boxes on the screen that seem to be messing up my cursor movements.

Can you post a photo of what you are talking about? I don't know what a "cursor info box" is.

I think your talented two-year-old may have turned on VoiceOver.. Does the black box look like the one on this page? If so, press command and F5 simultaneously to toggle it off.

Black Box

It was indeed voice over. I appreciate the quick help. It was driving me crazy.

Glad to help. Voiceover is very useful if needed but quite distracting otherwise IMHO.
