I have MS office 2008 installed on Lion. I can't locate the "My Templates" folder to delete templates. I read previous answers, but the "Library" under "Users" is not listed and spotlight doesn't find the folder.

Starting with Lion that finder is hidden to keep users from accidentally deleting something important. Here's how to temporarily unhide the folder:

1. Hold down the Option key while choosing Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu
2. In the box that appears make sure it says ~/Library then click OK

After unhiding your user library folder go here:

/Users/you/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/User Templates/My Templates/

Make sure you only delete the templates that you created and not the Normal template or the ones that are installed by Office.
