The bigger PowerBook G4 (15" and 17") has a 65W powersupply, while the 12" PowerBook and the iBooks have a 45W powersupply.
That means that you can use a 65W powersupply to charge an iBook or 12" PowerBook, but you can't use a 45W powersupply to charge a 15" & 17" PowerBook. It's not powerfull enough to charge their bigger battery.

Thank-you for that info, i will now NOT spend a small fortune on a new power supply, just use my old G3 one.
