We need a lot more detail than this. What version of OS X are you running? What are the specs of your Mac? What version of Firefox? What videos are you trying to watch? Are they Flash, MP4, WebM, etc. videos? Does this happen in all the browsers on your machine? What websites does this occur on?

Do you have an example of a video that does this? Is it a Flash video or "native" (videos played through HTML5 players are "native")?

It's for sure Flash, when the video is playing, I can right clilck on it and it gives me a screen to go to adobe settings and global settings. I tried a you tube video and it does it there but not as much as a normal news/sports video. I've check all my cables and they are all tight and secure. Could it be my Apple monitor?

Not likely.

Have you tried reinstalling Flash?

Did that yesterday, as a matter of fact, I uninstalled 14 and installed version 13. Still the same problem. Uninstalled ver 13 and reinstalled ver 14. Don' know what else to do. You've been a great help so far.

You're apparently not the only one experiencing this problem with Firefox 30. See here and here for some discussion and possible solutions.

Van, still no luck. Went into safe mode and tried there, seems videos ran okay. When I tried to get back to normalcy, I lost some stuff on firefox browser. No problem there but still have the problem of flickering videos on any browser. Can't mozilla do something here? If so, how do you get in touch with them? tks, Ken

You can get support from Mozilla here. In the meantime, try a different browser.

Hey Vansmith, finally got my mac mini to work like it should. I reverted back to FF 29.0.1 and problem solved, and no longer going to FF30 unless there is a fix from Mozilla, thanks for all your time on this, Ken

FF30 flickering videos

This is just for your information, do with it what you want, but if you have flickering videos after updating to FF30 like I did, just go back to FF29.0.1 and MY problem was solved, no more flickering videos and lost nothing going from 30 to 29, good luck
