Yes you can, but as always it is best to max out the ram on that machine

You didn't say what year we're talking, but if you have a discreet video card you should be fine. I've been hesitating to install Photoshop CC on my 2009 13" MBP because the graphics chipset is not really recommended. I expect it will run but poorly.
