iCloud merging bookmarks?

I'm increasingly needing my bookmarks from my iPad on my iMac & vice versa. Sometimes even on my iPhone. However I have different bookmarks dotted on all 3.

If I enable bookmarks on iCloud, what essentially will happen? Will they all be merged in no order (I don't mind organising).

Or does one device take priority (e.g. iMac) & all other devices lose their bookmarks? Essentially I want all bookmarks available on all devices.

How would I achieve this? I'm petrified of losing my bookmarks...!!!

They should sync on all three devices, and yes, in order. At least they do on my iMac, iPad, and iPhone. Give it a try.
