Heads up for all our regulars since we're seeing 1-2 a day and most spammers don't actually read threads anyway...
Practically every new member posting a 'Which Mac should I get?" thread for the past 3-4 weeks has been a spammer. They're inserting links which are invisible in the standard post format - won't say how here - don't want to give other rock grubbing scumbags that don't know how to do it any ideas.
We've been getting to them pretty quick, but, just to let you know - if you happen to notice whole threads go missing - the user, their post and the entire thread has been zapped back under the rock they crawled out of.
(The above is not the only topic these types of spammers have used over the past couple of years - just the most recent.)
