added partition with clean install of OS Mountain Lion

How do I migrate my programs i.e. Adobe CC to the new HD partition within same computer. The old HD became corrupted or something like that, so I did a clean install. I want to have access to my Adobe applications in the new install. How do I perform this task?

I can't imagine that you can migrate an install over. The easiest way, then, to do this would be to use the Creative Cloud installer to re-install it on your new OS X install.

Is this a new drive or a new partition on the old drive? If it is a new partition on the old drive I'd be a bit wary.Depending upon what is caused the problem you might be right back in the same boat soon. Make sure you keep regular backups just in case.

Yes I agree. Going back to the tainted OS is not a good idea. However, I do want to use files from my desktop on the old disk. Any suggestions as to how I can bring them to the new OS? Maybe through Cloud?

If this is indeed a new partition on the same HD, you should be able to access the old partition through Finder. Can you see the old partition?

Since you can see it, simply copy things over.
