Yeah, I've got a Nexus 5 with a PPI of 445 and unless you've got a microscope, you won't see any pixels anywhere. Adding more beyond that is simply unnecessary. I think hovering around 400 is perfectly fine and anything beyond that truly is "I've got more than you so I must be better."The LG G3 has a 5.5" screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 @ a PPI of 534. Ars Technica reviewed it and said that it looks great, but that PPI is a major source of battery drain.
