I have a Mac Pro 2.1 and need to access USB 3.0 sticks. I currently have USB 2.0. What would be a reasonable way to either add a card or hub?

USB 3.0 sticks will downgrade to USB 2.0 for access. If you are specifically looking to get USB 3.0 speed, you'll likely need a USB 3.0 card. I'm not ultra familiar with the Mac Pros, so no specific information from me on that..

Make sure you purchase one with the NEC chipset. Do not expect anything to boot from the USB3, but with four internal hard drive bays, that is no problem.
