So I have the second generation design Mac mini (aluminum unibody) that was a server Mac mini - it has two 1TB drives, one with OS X installed and the other being blank. I don't know if they're RAID or not. The one thing I'm noticing is that the icons for the drives are not the typical HDD icon, but rather, really fancy looking folders. The version of OS X that I installed is the standard OS X Mavericks - no server tools or functions.

Is there a way to change these fancy folders into HDD icons that are normally seen in OS X?

Closer than you think.
Your Mac's Specs
Performa 6116 2GBSCSI 8MB OS 7.5.3
Get info of the HD. In the Get info windows, select the HD icon in the top. It will be highlighted in blue. Hit the delete key.
