I do film editing. I want to have 3 monitors going at once, my MBP and two externals. Can I do that? I can connect the monitors with thunderbolt. But I'm not quite sure how to do this.

I did a little digging around the Internet and there seems to be some confusion about how to do this. Most of the suggestions involve use of a Thunderbolt-equipped docking station. Can you tell us more specifics about which MB Pro you have? That will help in giving you better recommendations.

One possible way would be to use monitors that have both a Thunderbolt input and output. Since Thunderbolt devices can be daisy chained (similar to the older SCSI devices) you may be able to do it that way.
