vivitar digital cameras??

I tried looking on their websites but found conflicting results. Does anyone know if the Vivitar digital cameras are Mac compatible?
We have an opportunity on getting a free one from work. But there is no info on it just that it's the one that has 3.0MB, 6MB internal memory.

I bought and returned a Vivitar 5MP over a year ago. It worked fine with Jaguar. If you can get that camera for free, then just try it.

hmm... I have Tiger. I wonder if it will work with that. Why did you return it?
I guess I can just take the memory chip in and have them put pics on a CD.
I won't be able to burn a CD without the proper software right?
But, it's free so I guess I can't expect everything.

I returned the camera because it had a noisy CCD. In otherwords, in non-optimal lighting conditions it produced images with bright specs in it. This problem was also noticed within shadows. What would you expect for a very inexpensive camera though.

If you have a CD writer or DVD writer attached to you Mac, Tiger can burn one of those. All you have to do is insert a blank disc and mount it. Drag some content to it, then select Burn Disk from the file menu in the Finder.

you can just get a card reader if your using a memory card but i dunno about that internal memory

I didn't install the drivers on my Lumix and my Mac just recognized it as "NO NAME".
