- Your Mac's Specs
- MacBook Air mid-2013 4GB, and other machines
It's a white 20-inch Late 2006 (other specs at bottom), and lately the fan noise is noticeable. Not huge, it is not going crazy, but used to be not heard at all.
Fan is running around 870 rpm with a core temp at 53 degrees C. I'm just typing emails and stuff; processors are sitting at a quite low %
I *think* the fan used to sit more like 600 rpm? Maybe I'm getting confused with another machine I had to put smcFanControl on.
This really bugs me-it's not the end of the world, but my house can be very quiet and one of the reasons I loved these machines was silent fans.
Processor 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics ATI Radeon X1600 256 MB
Serial Number W8728178VUW
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
