You have a few options for doing this. If you have Microsoft Office for Mac installed that should open most PowerPoint files Mac or PC. If you don't have that here are some options:
1. Apples Keynote program opens most PowerPoint files. Its in the Mac App Store for about $20.00.
2. You can also try LibreOffice. It's an open source alternative to MS Office and opens many PowerPoint files.
