Since my users MacBook Pro was updated to 10.9.3 he can no longer connect to our VPN server (pptp). It just says that there was no response. Others (not using 10.9.3 can connect just fine and there hasn't been any other changes.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I guess the question to you should be: Is your VPN server compatible with 10.9.3? And if it's not, why haven't you updated it?

Connects to Watchguard VPN appliance. Simple pptp connection with standard setup.
Shouldn't have to update anything on that end.

That's fine, but it does not necessarily mean that it's compatible with the latest version of Mavericks. Sometimes just an interim update such as going from 10.9.2 to 10.9.3 can break an application. I have had it happen to me on numerous occasions.

Thanks. That's where I was landing with this. Is it possible to re-install the update from .2 to .3 or even revert to .2 (time machine, etc...)?

Yes, it's possible if a backup was made prior to the member installing 10.9.3. If there was no backup it's still possible but a bit more work is involved. He'll have to erase his Macintosh HD from the recovery partition and then install Mavericks again. After installing Mavericks again, stop the updates at 10.9.2. Without a backup there will be loss of data so before erasing the drive, have him make a full backup with Time Machine.
