Hello all,

I've been using my iBook now for about 6-months, and I've got to say that I love it!
However, in my own stupidity, I thought I could drag my "Home" icon from Finder onto my Dock, but when I did it, the icon just kinda made a "poof" sound and dissappeared. Any ideas on how to get it back?

Thanks for your time.

open a finder window (or click on your desktop) go to file->preferences (or command+ , ...read, command and comma) click on sidebar and reselect 'home'

did you try to drag it from the sidebar to the dock? if thats what you did, then just drag it back to the sidebar from the Users folder, to get it on the dock, drag the same folder, not the icon in the sidebar
