I installed Mavericks on my old Unsupported Mac Pro. I need to replace my Quadrofx 4500 with different card that supports open cl and support dual screens.

My Quadro is working, but it displays little red, green and blue pixels on the screen and my second monitor isn't detected at all.

I've tried going into systems settings, displays but it only detects my first display. When I hold "alt" and the detect display button appears, clicking on it does nothing.

I assume I could get the quadrofx 4800, but I'd love to find something cheaper.

I just need to make this magical beast last a little while longer while I save up for a new Mac Pro.

Any advice on card selection and where to get one would be really appreciated.

Thanks Everyone.

A couple of quick suggestions would be a Radeon 5770 or Radeon 5870 (the Macintosh versions of course)!:)

That is the only option Clint.

Used to have an ATI Radeon HD4870 1GB flashed PC graphics card in my Mac Pro 2.1 but you do take some risks buying a flashed card. Have dealt with a dealer in Hong Kong satisfacorily for flashed cards.
