Greetings

I'm using iMovie 11 and have some good 16:9 footage in my Events library.

When I select a section of the movie to move into a project and hit 'E' to do this, I find that the clip is being cropped so that heads of people are chopped off!

Can anyone advise me as to what's going on, and how do I fix this, please?

Thanks

I've just figured it out, I think.....

Under iMovie project preferences, I had the 'initial video placement' set to crop. I have changed this to 'fit in frame' and it appears to have fixed the issue.

Maybe this will help someone else who has experienced the problem.

Actually, it's only a partial fix.

The project itself is less cropped than before, but it is quite different from the event footage.

So advice would be welcomed...

Thanks M
