Flash Drive on Mac Book Pro

I have a MacBook Pro Late 2013, I am using a sandisk 32GB cruiser that i keep in the machine.. can anyone tell me how i can make it accessible from both Mac and Windows while running VMWare Fusion?

I haven't used Fusion for quite some time (am using CrossOver to run a Windows program) that I'm not sure if this is still the way. Under options, devices, you can assign a device so that it can be used by Windows when the VM is being run. That will make it also accessible from OS X. Check options carefully because Fusion has changed quite a bit since I last ran it.
