The Sims 2&Anti virus software

I thought it'd be best to put them both in one topic, so:

Does anyone have experience with The Sims 2 on an ibook? I have the twelve inch ibook with the following:
1.33GHz PowerPC G4
512K L2 cache (at 1.33GHz)
512MB memory (DDR333 SDRAM)
12.1-inch TFT Display
1024x768 resolution
ATI Mobility Radeon 9550
32MB DDR video memory
40GB Ultra ATA hard drive
Combo Drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
Built-in AirPort Extreme
Built-in Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
Scrolling Trackpad
Sudden Motion Sensor

And I want The Sims 2, but I wondered if it would run very slowly on my ibook? I have a p.c I could get it for instead, but would prefer it for the ibook.

Second question:
My ibook isn't currently connected to the internet, but before I set it all up, I'd like to know what sort of anti-virus program I should look for. Are there free ones that are worth having? I'd rather not buy one for for the moment, but will hold off connecting to the internet until I can afford one if necessary.

Also, when I do come to buy an anti-virus program, which ones are the best? And do I need to get a specific one if I'm using wireless(never used wireless before)? We have McAfee on the p.c, but that doesn't seem to come in a mac version.

Sorry if these questions seem stupid, I'm not great with computer stuff.
