My Mac OS X is constantly freezing. It will work awesome for a couple days and then it reverts back to constantly freezing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Without more information...this is like asking someone "How long is this piece of rope?"...without showing them the rope.;)

We need more info:

- What exact Mac model do you have?
- What OS version is it running?
- Did you install any ram into it recently (before the freezing)?
- How full is your HD (gigs used & gigs free)?
- Was any liquid spilled on it?
- Does it seem to freeze doing any particular activities?
- Can you hear the fans running loudly? If so...what is the temp of the cpu?

G'day and welcome to the forums.

What MacBook and what operating systemm ~ OS X too generic. How much memory? How much free space on the hard drive? Either boot from the system install disc and run Repair Disk, or for OS X.7 and later do this via the Recovery Partition. Reboot, hold down the Option and R keys until you are in Recovery, go to Utilities and proceed.

Keepn us posted?

2.13 GHz is the processor speed - not the amount of RAM (memory) in the machine.

Open Disk Utility found in Applications / Utilites - highlight the Macintosh HD on the left - give us the Used and Free space shown at the bottom.

Is this the correct information?

Capacity : 159.7 GB (159,697,911,808 Bytes)
Format : Mac OS Extended (Journaled) Available : 123.6 GB (123,600,703,488 Bytes)

That's hard drive space. ;)

Go to  > About This Mac. It will tell you how much memory you have there.
