Iwant to convert shows on dvd 3GP converter format to play on cell phone

I have a Lg phone 8100 with a miniSd 1 GB card that can store movies and shows. In the Howardforums for phones, there is a lot of discussions and ways to put movies in the 1 GB card that usually involves changing avi or dvd movie to a format to 3gp that will play on your phone. Some of the softwares are super, imtoo and mpegable. Check it out on this link

I was wondering if there is a mac version of it, and has anyone done it.

It hard to believe that no one has attempted this.

if its a series60 phone you can just use xvid (low bitrates) and play them with lonely cat games player avail here:

Use ffmpegx to convert films to & from nearly format out there.

Just select 3gp as file type, enter your phone's screen resolution and try that.

(Try a short film first in case it doesn't work)

Google FFMpegX if you can't find it.

then, is it a matter of using bitpm and dragging the movie to the video folder?

Bitpm? Dunno what that's supposed to be

I just convert my movies with FFMpegX, and the drag them to the Movie folder on the memory stick.
