Mavericks 10.9.2 and Epson printers

1. I have an Epson Artisan 50.
2. I can print correctly from MS Word.
3. I cannot print correctly from Photoshop CS5
4. Epson website claims they have drivers for 10.9 but do not mention 10.9.2

Any suggestions?

Epson drivers for version 10.9 will also work for 10.9.2, but if you can print OK from Word and not Photoshop, the problem may be with Photoshop.

Go to this link and download OS X>9 drivers. Install. Go into System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. With the printer connected by USB and turned on, hit the (+) button to get the printer set up.

My TX550W changed the way scanning is done under Mavericks. Instead of hitting the Scan button on the printer, under Epson Software in Applications there is an Epson SCAn file. Double click on that and away you go.
