Hey All,

I am working on a project, I got a short film from a film festival but it is only available in Video_TS and Audio_TS and I need to be able to import it into Final Cut Pro X, I was wondering what is the best way to convert TS files to MOV file, any ideas? I appreciate it :)

Cheers :D

Yea, go and grab HandBrake and open the Folder that the TS files are in and convert. If not, you can pay for MPEG Streamclip. But HB is Free and does a great job, in any conversion.

You can import .mp4 into FCP. I do it all the time, but it converts to .mp4 not .MOV

It want matter what media source the media files start out with, as they will be exported as 1 type of media file, and you shouldn't have too many problems. Remembering, both .MOV and .mp4 and .m4v and all Mac compatible, and they are only a container for holding the actual movie file.

If it worries you that much, pay for the MPEG Streamclip I linked above.
