I should be able to figure out this most basic of operations, but I can't.

I just bought a 32 G SD MicroCard to replace the 2 G one in my phone (not iPhone...sorry).

How do I transfer the iTunes library from my iMac to the new card (I don't want anything from the old card)?

Card is in the slot. I'm in iTunes. Music>Edit>Select All>File>Library>Export>pop-up window>[I select my disc (new card)]

Save as music.txt, format unicode txt (default). Well, that can't be right if txt is means text.

But somehow 3 songs out of 218 did transfer, so I must be on the right track.

Is there a progress bar? I may have ejected the disc too soon.

If I have to I can transfer via Bluetooth, I suppose.

Thank you.

There's nothing wrong with owning a different smartphone. ;)

This is quite simple - just drag the files from iTunes to the Finder window that displays your SD card.

Thank you! That appears to be working (progress bar is running).

I guess I was overcomplicating the operation.
