I just joined the MAC Forum and was asked to introduce myself. I have been a die-hard MAC user since 1984 and have owned various models or MACs and Macbooks over the years. I have also worked as a graphic designer since the 1980's in advertising and printing agencies. I enjoy the discussions on this site and appreciate any helpful Techie info that you all provide. As a MAC user, I love everything MAC but also realize that sometimes I have to use PCs in my job. That said, I will always prefer MACs over PCs.

Being a long time user, you've no doubt seen the transformations of the Apple computers from its original days to what they are today..

And, I wouldn't sweat the simple things like calling a Macintosh a MAC or whatever, we all know what you mean. I still know people who to this day call their computer a CPU. Technically, of course, the CPU is just one part of the computer, but I know they are referring to the tower/desktop that is separate from the monitor, keyboard and mouse..:)
