Yeah, the doom 3 universal binary is out and man is it fast!

MBP 2.4ghz SR, 256m 8600gt, 640gb HD, 3gb RAM
What is the unibin?
And how much faster is it?
Does it make Doom 3 work well on even an iBook?

unibin= Universal Binary or Universal Application

It only speeds it up on Intel Macs and others with ATI GPU chips. Probably still not playable on an iBook.
