I am sending my new air back to Apple and want to delete any logins and passwords.

Can this be done? If so, how should I proceed with a total sweep of all personal data?

As always our advice is appreciated.

Restore it in iTunes and don't let it restore a backup.

Thank you for the advise. I went to i Tunes but can't find a way to restore. My level of computer savvy is very low so any advise should be geared to the beginner level. Thanks again.

Here's how to restore it to factory settings. Note that this will erase everything on your iPad.

Note - as bobtomay mentioned, do not restore from a backup.
