last night, i was prompted to update adobe flash to v13. i did, and it failed. it initiallizes, downloads, and when i gets to about 65% it jumps to finished. so i hit the finished button, and the adobe page loads, and it says "plug in failure". how do i correct the problem??

i'm on a black macbook running 10.7.5

eric...like harryb, I always suggest getting the Flash update straight from Adobe. I am currently running 10.6.8 and I just dl Plug-in version 13.0.0.182. Make sure All apps are closed when trying to install. I hope this helps.

If your computer was made in 2006 or 2007, you can't yet use the Flash 13.x plugin as you've noticed. Downgrade to 12 and stand by.
