Since Mavericks installation, "loading" websites with Safari is very slow. I click on a bookmark or put in an address, the blue line gets a quarter to halfway and then stops. Sometimes it just "hangs up" there. I will highlight it, than click return, with the result the same or other times it actually going through to the website. This can be very frustrating.

Hope there is a fix. Thanks ahead.

the problem might be with your router or, more likely, your modem.

I had the same problem. First, checked the Mac OS, etc.

Second, rebooted the wireless/LAN router by powerinf off and then on.

Finally, rebooted the modem. This worked, but the problem reappeared every day for three days.

Ultimately replaced the modem and all problems went bye-bye.

It's worth a try.
