Hello as most of you know I am getting my PB 3400. It does not have a usb port
on it :eek:neye: (I know I can get a PC card). I also have a lexmark x1195 printer with only usb connection. What I am wondering is there a usb to printer port adapter?

I don't think there's anything like that available. I checked the usual suspects - Dr Bott, Belkin, Keyspan etc - and there are a few adapters for old printer to USB Mac but nothing for old Mac to USB printer. Another issue may be printer software. Does Lexmark make a driver for the system version that you'll use on the 3400?

Oh yeah lexmark Only makes for OS X and windows now... I might as well just buy an old Printer port printer.

My canon i560 still has an old printer port connection on the back and OS9 drivers. Check out the low end printers as these usually still have the older connections.
