trying to bring a 13" A1278 Macbook Pro back to life. I see a few places advertise; anybody have any experience they'd recommend? Liquid spill.

Did you miss the "Sticky" post at the top of this forum regarding spills and what to do? Read through as much of it as you have time.

Have you read this thread?:

I cannot remember anyone getting a logic board repaired.

- They are just too darn complex,
- too difficult to troubleshoot exactly what is good/bad
- the cost cannot be cheap
- and who the heck has the proper resources to do this sort of repair

And with a liquid spill...multiple things could be effected.

A replacement logic board is usually what is done. And in many cases...the cost of the replacement can be as much or even more than the computer is worth.

Had a logic board replaced at an Apple Store in Massachusetts for about $300 a few weeks ago. Try making an appointment with the geniuses to see if they can help out.
