Having a problem with Word and Firefox on dual screens

I've got a problem that I hope you guys can help with. I am running dual screens, both Dell running off of the Mac Mini, and I have firefox open on both. When I hit command + ` to cycle windows Word pops up and becomes the active application. I don't have this problem with other Microsoft programs. Even when Microsoft word is not next in the active apps list (like when you hit command + tab to switch apps quickly) and I hit command + `, it will still pop up and become the active application. I don't know if this is a shortcut I need to change or where to look in order to change it.
