I was reformatting my Macbook Pro (OS X 10.6) and changing over from Parallels to Boot Camp. I partitioned my hard drive and followed the application instructions to reinstall windows xp. All good there. However, somewhere in this process my OS X was deleted. My Macbook now only boots up in windows and when I restart and hold the ALT key, the partition selection tab only shows windows and not OS X.

Please help.

MBP - 2.5GHZ, 4 GB, w/ 250 GB hard drive.

The windows partition is 29.5 GB. I am not sure where to see if it shows 2 partitions.

I've tried restarting with the OS X installation cd in the drive, but it still boots in XP.

Can i access the OS X installation CD from XP?

I do have a backup on my timemachine but how do i restore from XP?

All good on the startup disk but I get jammed up at this screen that asks you to select the destination disk.

the only option available is BOOTCAMP that reads "At least 24.34 GB free, 31.7 GB total"

the message below this reads Mac OS X cannot start up from this disk
