iMac 27", Late 2013
Hi guys, I'm looking at purchasing my first iMac perhaps in a couple of months time around May.

However after looking on Google, I've read some articles about some ghosting problems that have plagued the 27" iMac's and Retina MacBook Pro's.

I'm going to continue doing some digging around, but can anyone offer any insight onto image ghosting issue on the iMac screens? Did Apple ever correct the problem?

Cheers guys!

Those screen issues were from back in in 2009 or so. As far as I know, there haven't been any of these issues on recent models..

I've owned a 2011 iMac and now a 2013 iMac with no ghosting issue. As Ashwin pointed out, that problem occurred a long time ago and was fixed by Apple. Some LCDs on the 24" models were defective. Apple replaced them for free.
