I support a Mac user who has been mounting a Windows share in the finder for several months now but is now having terrible problems.
Nothing has changed on the server or with permissions in the folders in the share.,
If I boot the Mac (running 10.9.2) and then go to "Connect to Server" and enter "SMB://SERVERSHARE" then I am able to mount the drive. But when she tries to access folders she will lose the share, and we will not be able to remount the drive until a reboot.
I can access this from my computer.
The user reports that she just upgraded to 10.9.2, did that cause issues?
