ERROR message playing game via WineSkin

I downloaded a game a while back and it worked flawlessly, I tried playing it today (a couple of weeks later) and my game will not start, instead a pop message appears stating:

ERROR! cannot write to Info.plist, there are permission problems, or you are on a read-only volume.

This cannot run from within a read-only dmg file.

please help.

How, exactly are you starting this game? Sounds like it's not installed and still on a .dmg image.

just by double clicking the .exe file and it wineskin starts it up.

What is the name of the game? Are there any special characters in the name, such as & or #?
If so, rename it. Check the Wineskin FAQ for more answers.
