Somebody sent an e-mail with an attached pdf (90kb) to my iCloud e-mail address but it was bounced back. I asked another recipient to forward the e-mail to me so that I could check that the correct address had been used. It had. Why would this happen?

If the original email was sent with a virus (for Windows) attached, iCloud might have rejected it. Presumably said infection was scrubbed off by the other recipients' anti-virus so they could forward it to the same address without incident. Just a possible explanation ...

Many thanks chas_m. I've passed your message to the sender and suggested that she do a virus check to be on the safe side. The person who forwarded her e-mail is a Mac user but he doesn't use an iCloud address.
