Can you track a stolen or missing iPad?

My mom lost her iPad, I fear it may have been stolen by a caregiver since my mom never leaves the house. Is there anyway to find it by some kind of geo tracking? Thanks!

Do you know if she or you installed "Find my phone" on the iPad? If you have that installed on the iPad, you can locate it from your Mac and remotely wipe it. Also, be sure to report the stolen iPad to the police even if you don't know who has it. And check your Mother's home owner or rental insurance to see if it's covered.
